Dear Mr. Addis,

Foreign Office, January 24, 1911. MANY thanks for your letter of the 19th instant, enclosing a letter from Mr. Hillier, relative to the Hukuang Railway loan negotiations.

Practically the same information has reached us from Sir J. Jordan, who appears to agree with Mr. Hillier in thinking that if the representatives of the four groups work together and exercise the necessary patience, the agreement will go through in time.
